Kelly: Pack Leader

Kelly, owner/operator of Little Dog Adventures, has more than 25 years professional experience in the pet care industry, as well as owning and running her own business. She started out working as a veterinary assistant and attending the Foothill College Vet Tech program. She then continued her work with dogs by starting her own pet sitting and dog walking business in her native West Coast. She specializes in pack training, and could often be seen walking packs of 12-15 dogs off leash on the California Coast! Kelly also became a certified personal trainer and coached youth sports, another passion of hers. She has since relocated to Virginia Beach, VA and has applied her knowledge of dog behavior, training, and business experience to serve her clientele (which have become like a family) at Little Dog Adventures.

At Little Dog Adventures we specialize in providing enrichment daycare and adventure walks for small and medium breed dogs under 30lbs, in a low key relaxing environment. We keep our pack small so that each client and their dog are provided with exceptional service and attention. No cold concrete, or unnatural fluorescent lighting here! At Little Dog Adventures your pup will enjoy cushy couches, soft blankets, and padded flooring, as well as outdoor access on clean turf with beautiful views of the park, where they can enjoy nature and sniff around ‘til their hearts content. We believe in providing an exceptional and unique kind of dog daycare experience that we want for our own pups. With daily shuttle service, and a variety of enrichment activities, this is doggie daycare reimagined. We can’t wait to meet you, and learn more about your pup!

I cannot say enough good things about Kelly and Little Dog Adventures! I feel so fortunate to have found this daycare for my dog, Charles. Kelly is absolutely wonderful; it is clear that Charles adores her and spending time with his friends at LDA. The group size is small enough that the pups get ample individualized attention, and the backyard is the perfect set up for playing. Plus the pick up and drop off couldn't be more convenient! Kelly takes the time to upload photos and videos daily of each dog in addition to putting together the cutest photo shoots during holidays. I am very sad to be moving and leaving LDA. I would recommend Kelly and LDA to anyone.

The best doggie day care! Kelly is extremely professional and dedicated into running her business smoothly every day. This was my first time sending my dog to daycare and Kelly went above and beyond sharing daily photos/videos and writing notes/emailing me to keep me informed of anything going on. My dog, petey, absolutely loves getting picked up in the morning and heading to play with all his dog friends! Thank you Kelly and Little Dog Adventures!

Little Dog Adventures and Kelly have been the absolute best for the past 2 years. Piper loves going to "school" and loves all of her friends. She even has a BFF. We hate to move and leave Kelly. She really does treat my little one like her very own. And the pick-up service is the best. I never worry about my little one.

Kelly and Little Dog adventures is amazing. The service provided and the great care of my sweet puppy made it an easy decision to chose her for my doggie day care provider and to top it off she does boarding too. I highly recommend her and Raven does too!!

Brodie lives for his Little Dog Adventures! This is so much better than the big doggy day cares. Kelly has transformed her home into an incredible paradise for these pups! From the elevated beds and crates to her incredible yard, Kelly cultivates a safe, fun and engaging environment for all the pups at LDA. Brodie loves Kelly, loves his furry friends and absolutely loves LDA. We cannot say enough good things. I would give this place 10 stars if they would let me!

This doggie daycare is absolutely amazing!! Kelly truly cares about the pups, and she has the perfect doggie daycare setup!! We have a pug that absolutely loves going to Little Dog Adventures, and I love that I never have to worry about bigger dogs accidentally playing too rough with our pup! Kelly also sends video and picture updates - love this perk! I highly recommend Kelly and her doggie daycare!

Kelly treats our dog like he’s her own and we are incredibly fortunate to have her caring for him during the week. Our dog loves Little Dog Adventures so much that he eagerly awaits Kelly’s arrival each morning. Having her pick up and drop him off every day is so convenient, and we always have peace of mind when we travel that our pup will have a great time staying with Kelly. 100% would recommend!

Kelly at Little Dog Adventures is awesome. She cares for these dogs as if they are her own. I never have to worry about my dog when she is at Little Dog Adventures. Having this doggie day camp in the shore drive area has been so great to have. Georgia always knows what day "school" and is always excited to see Kelly and all her friends. I cannot say enough great things about Little Dog Adventures. Your dog will thank you for sending them there.

Our pup loves going to daycare everyday to play with her friends! Lots of playtime outside and seeing her friends is why she gives Little Dog Adventures four paws up! 🐾

LuLu and Roscoe love the care at Little Dog Adventures and the care they receive there. So great knowing they are active during the day and get to play.
